Stitch With Eabel was founded by Aguinem Deborah Ugochukwu from a simple curiosity that grew into a lifelong passion for crochet.
The journey began during a Home Economics class in secondary school, where she became fascinated by the beautiful pieces her classmates were making. With little guidance, she taught herself by observing patterns, practising consistently, and even reusing loosened hair wool to create her very first crochet piece. What started as a hobby soon became a source of creativity, peace, and self-expression.
The brand was formerly known as The Eabel Domain. As the vision grew beyond a personal creative space into a business dedicated to handmade luxury and crochet education, it was officially registered as Stitch With Eabel in May 2026—a name that reflects both the craft and the story behind it.
The name EABEL is deeply personal. It was derived from EA (Eagle), BE (Bee), and L (Lion)—symbols that reflect the meaning of her names. The Eagle represents the courage to soar high, the Bee stands for creativity and diligence, while the Lion symbolizes boldness and the determination to make an impact wherever she goes. These values continue to shape everything the brand stands for.
